The amount of love I have for these three absolute rockstars cannot be measured. They are, without a doubt, the real VIPs of this day, and having them walk down the aisle ahead of Brittany means everything to me.

First up is Abby Blake, my beautiful stepdaughter. I first met Abby when she was just a tiny, wild three-year-old, and watching her grow into the brilliant, joyful six-year-old she is today has been the greatest privilege of my life. 

Every single day, her smile and her laugh are instant reminders of what truly matters; she just makes you know that life is so worth living. Trying to see the world through her eyes is absolutely incredible. Whether we are building massive blanket forts, letting our imaginations run completely wild, or, our absolute favorite hobby, teaming up to pick on Mom, this kid fills my heart to the brim. She teaches me how to love deeper every day, and being her bonus dad is a gift I'll never take for granted.

Joining her are my two beautiful goddaughters, Addi West and Emberly West. They might be teenagers now, but I’ve been blessed to be in their lives since the literal day they were born. To them, I’ve only ever been "Uncle Jake," and being named their godfather was such an honor I honestly felt I never thought I  deserve or could live up too. The memories we’ve shared over the years are a permanent part of who I am, and I simply cannot imagine my world without them in it. They are growing into such incredible young women, and I'm so proud to watch them walk this path with us.

If we are being completely honest, all three of these girls have always owned my heart... and my wallet. Whenever I would visit Addi and Emberly, their mom and dad might have said "no" to whatever candy, toy, or adventure they wanted, but the girls always knew their uncle was a total softie and also a big kid. They’ve had me completely wrapped around their fingers from day one, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Keep an eye out for them, they are guaranteed to steal the show, and they’ve definitely stolen my entire heart!
